The Story Behind Rockin Reindeer Ranch!

Eight years ago a wife purchased a pair of fallow deer for Christmas for her husband, an avid outdoors man with a deep interest and love of all wildlife.  The pair of deer quickly turned into a small herd and the couple was awestruck as they learned about the social structure and dynamics of the herd.  One day while watching a documentary together, they witnessed natives in Mongolia pack and ride reindeer.  The couple looked at each other and said “WOW! That’s awesome”!  It started as a joke between the two as they said to each other, “Let’s get some Reindeer.” Slowly the joking turned into research and the joke became a plan.  Two years later after tons of research, very hard work, inspections and licensing, the couple purchased three female reindeer and Rockin Reindeer Ranch came to be.

We are that couple and although we still love and have our fallow deer, Reindeer have stolen our hearts.  They are remarkable creatures that take our breath away daily!  With over 25 years experience providing and working with animals in the film industry and as lifetime animal caretakers, starting a company to offer reindeer exhibits seemed natural.  We are so excited to share these amazing animals with you!  We invite you to come and see the reindeer at our public events or book them for your work/company holiday party.
